About us

Our vision is to be Christ’s people maturing in faith, hope, and love.

We believe that the vision for the church is set by Jesus Christ since he is the Lord of the church. Although there are many verses in the Bible that talk about Christ’s will for the church, these below are very important to us and give a well-rounded description of the mission of the church.

And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” (Matthew 28:18–20)

Him we proclaim, warning everyone and teaching everyone with all wisdom, that we may present everyone mature in Christ. (Colossians 1:28)

Remembering before our God and Father your work of faith and labor of love and steadfastness of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ. (1 Thessalonians 1:3)

We build people of faith through our Sunday morning worship time where the word of God is read, sung, prayed and preached.

We build people of hope as we go out into the world intentionally sharing the hope of Jesus Christ.

We build people of love by knowing and serving one another in small groups and service ministries.

Our Values

Inerrancy of Scripture

The Bible is God’s infallible Word (2 Tim. 3:16–17). It is completely true and reliable, is inspired by God, and the events recorded in it really happened.

Spirit-Led Worship

The Holy Spirit leads all aspects of our worship services, including singing, praying, Scripture reading, testimony, drama, electronic media, teaching, and preaching (John 4:23–24).

Community Outreach

We are closely connected to our surrounding community so that we may be the “salt and light” to them (Matt. 5:13–16). As such, we seek to get to know our community and its ministry opportunities so we can reach people for Christ.

Relational Fellowship

Our church family is founded on our common relationship with Christ and our mutual relationships with one another (Acts 2:42–47). Our relationships with one another will be authentic, encouraging, and life-giving.

Intentional Discipleship

Discipleship happens through a carefully developed program of instruction and mentoring that develops believers to maturity (2 Tim. 2:2).

Every Member Serving

Our members are involved in ministry— actively serving our church and our community as the hands and feet of Christ (Rom. 12:5–6).

Faith Sharing By All

Our people are directly involved in reaching our community and our world for Christ (Acts 1:8) through personal evangelism.

Spiritual Leadership

Our church follows the leadership of the Holy Spirit in every way (Eph. 2:18–22). Leaders carefully seek God’s direction and members affirm it through their own walk with the Lord.

Everything In Love

Love for God and one another is seen in all we do (1 John 4:7–8).
